SILVER CREEK, N.Y. (WKBW) — A shelter in place order issued this afternoon for the Village of Silver Creek has now been lifted.
A SWAT team had surrounded 15 Elm Street, where a man wanted by authorities in Florida was believed to be inside. The suspect was wanted for aggravated assault without a weapon with the intent to kill, according to the Chautauqua County Sheriff's Office.
The suspect is now in custody and the situation ended without incident.
