AMHERST, N.Y. (WKBW) — Amherst police are investigating a serious crash involving drunk driving.
Police say a car driven by 23-year-old Megan Hardy of Corfu collided with another car driven by 66-year-old Robert Allen of Clarence.
It happened around 12:30 Friday morning on Transit Road near Wehrle Drive.
Allen is at ECMC with serious head and back injuries. Hardy wasn't seriously hurt.
She is charged with driving while intoxicated and vehicular assault.
