WEST SENECA, N.Y. (WKBW) — The SPCA serving Erie County is holding pet CPR classes to teach people how to care for their pets.

"We think it should be second hand just like doctors and nurses to on a person" Sally Budik, veterinarian for the SPCA serving Erie County.

The classes teach different techniques for CPR, as well as how to monitor the animals health properly.

Above all else, bringing the animal to the vet whenever an issue arises is a good plan.

Another CPR class is planned for July.
