TOWN OF GAINESVILLE, N.Y. (WKBW) — Police arrested Robbie Nilsson and Joanne Orosz in the parking lot at Letchworth Central School during a non-school related event.
According to police, both suspects were attending a youth event at the facility when school was not in session. Members of the staff called police after spotting the two smoking marijuana inside their car. Deputies seized a plastic container with marijuana inside of it from within the vehicle. Nilsson and Orosz have both issued appearance tickets for the charge of Unlawful Possession of Marijuana in the Second Degree, and they were scheduled to answer the charge in the Town of Gainesville Court on November 18, 2019.
No children were in the vehicle at the time of the incident. But, the children who had arrived with the couple were sent home with responsible parties.
