OLEAN, NY (WKBW) — The Cattaraugus County Sheriff's Office announced a Salamanca man has been arrested and faces multiple charges including child sexual assault.
The Sheriff's Office arrested 32-year-old Shawn Michael Sayers Sr. around 9 a.m. Friday on a sealed indictment warrant out of Cattaraugus County.
Sayers Sr. faces the following charges: predatory sexual assault, 2 counts of predatory sexual assault against a child, 2 counts of sexual conduct against a child, and rape in the first degree.
He is being held and will be transferred to Cattaraugus County Jail for further proceedings.
