Roswell Park receives $100,000 grant from Hyundai "Hope on Wheels"

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — Roswell Park just received a massive grant from Hyundai Motors' non-profit, "Hope on Wheels."

During Hyundai's nationwide tour this summer, it brought a grant of $100,000 for the Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center to go towards funding for pediatric cancer research. The Hyundai Impact Award was presented to Matthew Barth, MD at Roswell Park Wednesday.

The center is one of 77 recipients receiving a combined $16 million to develop innovative approaches to finding a cure for the disease.

"Hope on Wheels" remains one of the largest funders in pediatric cancer reseach in the nation. In total, HHOW has awarded $160 million in funding since 1998. With this latest grant, Roswell Park has received a total of $300,000 from "Hope on Wheels."
