BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — Earlier this month we told you about where your dollars go when you donate to Roswell Park; and on Wednesday, September 25th, Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center will celebrate its inaugural"Day of Giving."
It's a 24-hour event where individuals can make donations to support breast cancer research, and money for pediatric care, and in honor of Childhood Cancer Awareness Month.
Throughout the day, there will be opportunities to participate in "power hours," where donations will be doubled or larger donations will be maximized by individual and corporate donors.
Here's the "power hour" schedule:
- 9 – 10 am – sponsored by Lipsitz & Ponterio, LLC
- 12 – 1 pm – sponsored by Jim Newman, Chair of the Roswell Park Alliance Foundation Board
- 3 – 4 pm – sponsored by Phil Hubbell, Member of the Roswell Park Alliance Foundation Board
- 8 – 9 pm – sponsored by Delta Sonic Car Wash Systems Inc.
