The reward keeps increasing to help find the person responsible for leaving "Charlie" the dog inside a garbage tote in Buffalo.
The reward is now up to $1,475.
The pitbull mix was discovered by city of Buffalo sanitation workers near Bailey and Walden Avenues, last week. He was freezing cold, starving, and injured.
The news is still grave concerning Charlie. According to the SPCA, Charlie's increase in platelet levels have now reversed. His red blood cell count is also decreasing. Charlie continues to put on weight, but the SPCA's Chief Veterinary Officer says internally, his condition is very serious. He may need a second blood transfusion.
If you know anything about this case, call the SPCA Serving Erie County right away.
