CATTARAUGUS/ERIE COUNTIES (WKBW) — Multiple agencies responded to Zoar Valley for a rescue Thursday afternoon.
The Erie County Sheriff's Office says an initial call came in for first aid and was changed to a rescue call.
After several hours, rescuers were able to reach the individual on the gorge wall and lowered that person to a creek bed. The individual was picked up by Air-1 and was then taken to medical care professionals for evaluation.
