16 dogs from across the country are doggone lucky to be in Buffalo.

All of them were placed in a forever home on Sunday.

“Those types of dogs need just as much love if not more love,“ said Courtney Wallen who adopted one of the dogs.

“Be Their Voice Rescue" rescued the dogs from neglectful or emergency situations from around the county. It’s the largest rescue Be Their Voice has ever done.

“These dogs came from Louisiana, and Tennessee. It makes me feel like we’re impacting our community and that these dogs are going to be well cared for,” said Be Their Voice Rescue President, January Vaughn.

Some traveled more than 26 hours to be adopted in Buffalo.

The rescue still has more dogs available for adoption. Click here for information.
