NIAGARA FALLS, N.Y. (WKBW) — Would you like to race for a good cause?
The Aquarium of Niagara is hosting its fourth annual Sea Lion Rescue Run 5K on Saturday, June 8, at Whirlpool State Park in Niagara Falls.
The event supports the care of the aquarium’s 10 rescued sea lions and seals, which have been deemed non-releasable and unable to survive on their own in the wild.
Participants will receive free, same-day admission to the Aquarium of Niagara where there will be a party featuring live music, awards ceremony and sea lion show. Winners will even receive awards that were painted by sea lions!
