BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — A woman has been taken to the hospital after being rescued from the Niagara River Thursday.
Buffalo police say multiple agencies responded to the water rescue around 6:20 p.m. at the foot of Hertel Avenue.
According to police, a woman was pulled from the water with help from the Erie County Sheriff's Office.
The woman was taken to Buffalo General Hospital for treatment.
The incident is under investigation.
