BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — Buffalo police say a woman, in her early 70's, has "injuries that appear serious in nature" after being shot while inside her home.
According to police, the shooting happened in the 500 block of Lisbon Avenue, near Orleans Street, around 8 p.m. Friday.
Police say the woman was taken to Erie County Medical Center.
It is believed the woman was not the intended target.
