BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — An Allegany County man is facing charges, accused of raping an individual earlier this month.

New York State Police arrested 29-year-old Jordan Mullings, of Belmont, for Rape, Burglary, Unlawful Imprisonment, Criminal Obstruction of Breathing and Menacing.

Police were called out to a possible domestic on State Route 244 in Amity on February 7. Investigators say they determined Mullings forced unwanted sexual advances and attempted to prevent the victim from leaving or getting help. The victim told police the incident stopped once troopers arrived at the home.

Mullings was arraigned and sent to Allegany County jail on $50,000 cash bail. He is scheduled to return to court later in February.
