BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — A home care aid who worked with Help At Your Home Agency in Williamsville and Care.com was arrested for fraud and grand larceny by NYS Police.

29-year-old Bridgid Buseman of Tonawanda is facing Grand Larceny, Identity Theft, Possession of a Forged Instrument and Criminal Possession charges. State Police say she was a home care aid for the elderly, and was taking money and forging checks that belonged to her clients. State Police worked with Buffalo and Amherst Police to make the arrest, and they say both departments have possible criminal cases against her.

A representative of Help At Your Home Agency tells Eyewitness News that Buseman is no longer an employee of their company and hasn't worked with them since January of 2019.

Buseman was arrested on February 24th.
