BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — A missing child alert that was issued by the NY Alert System on behalf of the Village of Kenmore police has been canceled.
The alert was issued Friday morning as police were searching for 17-year-old Sapphire Houston-Taylor. Houston-Taylor was described as a missing endangered child who may be in need of medical attention. The alert said she was last seen on Elmwood Avenue in the Village of Kenmore at 9 p.m. on Thursday, April 23.
The alert was canceled around 8:30 p.m. on Friday. No further information was released.
