Police: man had BAC 3x the legal limit in wrong way crash on 33

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — A Buffalo man has been arrested in connection with a head-on crash on the 33 Expressway that happened in October 2018.

Police say 30-year-old Rodney Borden, Jr. had a BAC of .29, which is more than three times the legal limit, when he traveled the wrong way on the inbound 33 near Locust Street.

According to Buffalo police, Borden was charged with aggravated vehicular assault, aggravated DWI, reckless driving, imprudent speed and other charges.

A 28-year-old woman, who was driving the other vehicle, has been released from Erie County Medical Center after being treated for multiple injuries.
