Police: Landlord shoots tenant during dispute, charged with attempted murder

LITTLE VALLEY, N.Y. (WKBW) — A Little Valley man is charged with attempted murder and assault, accused of trying to kill his tenant.

State police say Daniel Langdon, 51, got into a physical altercation with the 40 year-old victim on July 3 at a property Langdon owns on State Route 98 in Farmersville. During the fight, investigators say Langdon shot the victim multiple times with a 9mm pistol.

The victim was airlifted to ECMC with non-life-threatening injuries.

Langdon is being held in the Cattaraugus County Jail on $25,000 cash bail.
