BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — A woman is dead after a head-on crash in Buffalo's Lovejoy neighborhood Wednesday night.
Buffalo police say a 25-year-old woman was driving south on Bailey Avenue near East Lovejoy Street just after 9:30 p.m when a vehicle traveling north crossed into her lane and struck her vehicle.
She had to be extricated from her vehicle and was transported to ECMC where she was later pronounced dead.
Two people from the car that struck her, a man and a woman, were taken to ECMC and they were treated and released.
Buffalo police say investigators are trying to determine if the vehicle traveling north on Bailey that crossed over was traveling at a high rate of speed.
No charges have been filed at this time.
