BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — Buffalo police have revealed a dead body found this week on the city's east side was a homicide.
Police said the man, 29-year-old Christopher Clarke of Buffalo died from a gunshot wound.
7 Eyewitness News responded to the scene on the first block of Oberlin Avenue around 2 a.m. Tuesday. Our crew observed double-digit officers and six patrol vehicles. A large perimeter was established with crime tape. Some officers were searching the ground with flashlights.
Initially, police said officers found a dead body there, before clarifying the nature of how the man died once an autopsy was performed.
