PORTVILLE, N.Y. (WKBW) — A Portville man is facing charges after New York State Police say he struck a neighboring house with a bolt fired from a crossbow.
According to investigators, Lester Baker Jr., 51, was aiming for a woodchuck in his yard on State Route 417 Sunday but missed his target and hit a neighbor's home instead. No one was hurt.
Baker is charged with reckless endangerment and reckless endangerment of property.
