BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — Buffalo police say a 17-year-old girl was killed in a shooting in the city's Kenfield neighborhood.

According to police, the shooting happened around 9:00 p.m. Wednesday on the 400 block of Lisbon Avenue. The teen was in a moving car when she was shot and her body was found inside the car on the 100 block of Langfield Drive. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

"There were several occupants in the vehicle. Why they continued to drive over to that location, that's what homicide detectives are looking to find out," said Deputy Commissioner Joe Gramaglia.

Homicide detectives are investigating.

"No suspects at this time, we have collected some video evidence," said Gramaglia.

Police identified the teen Thursday night as 17-year-old Lorinia Robinson.
