CHEEKTOWAGA, N.Y. (WKBW) — A 27-year-old man is accused of driving drunk and hitting and killing a woman with his car.
Investigators say Blair Bell struck 46-year-old Tonya Gravely on Pine Ridge Road in the Town of Cheektowaga in early May. Gravely was removing items from her own vehicle when the vehicle struck her.
She was taken to ECMC where she was later pronounced dead.
Bell is due back in court Thursday, August 1.
He faces up to 7 years in prison if convicted. Bell is charged with one count of Vehicular Manslaughter and two counts of Driving While Intoxicated.
