Police called to Buffalo's St. Louis Church Saturday

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — Tense moments during mass at St. Louis Church on Main Street Saturday.

Buffalo Police say they received a call at 4:50 p.m. about a man who was “causing concern” inside the church.

Police tell 7 Eyewitness News the man was wearing sunglasses, dressed entirely in brown clothing, and carrying a large bag when he entered and walked towards the altar, approximately ten minutes before mass was set to end.

Police took the man to Horizon Village Terrace House in Buffalo for detox.

No further information is available at this time.
