SOUTH BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — We are still working to learn more about a crash that killed two people in South Buffalo early Sunday morning.

The two-car crash happened at Seneca Street and Pomona Place around 2:40 a.m.

According to Buffalo police, 33 year old Anthony Twentyfive III and 32-year-old Kristin N. LaBruno, both from Buffalo, had just pulled out of a parking spot on Seneca Street when their Toyota sedan was hit by a Maserati.

Buffalo Police tell 7 Eyewitness News they have sent a subpoena for the driver's blood that was drawn at the hospital. Officers say this will determine if the driver of the Maserati was drunk.

Captain Jeff Rinaldo says police will not release the name of the driver unless they are charged with a crime.
