BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — Businesses on Chippewa Street in Buffalo will be coming together to host a socially distant, outdoor Buffalo Bills viewing party once again Sunday for the AFC Championship game against the Kansas City Chiefs.

"Playoffs on Patios" is a plan that was developed by Chippewa businesses in partnership with the City of Buffalo for the Bills playoff game against the Indianapolis Colts on January 9.

Rec Room Buffalo announced the event would be returning this weekend on its Facebook page Tuesday.

Chippewa Street will be closed from Franklin Street to the Buffalo Tap House, right near Delaware Avenue. In that zone will be dining tables, chairs, and two 15-foot LED screens.

Reservations are required, when the event was held previously each table had to spend $200 worth of food and drinks coming from Soho or Rec Room.

During a press conference early in the week Buffalo Mayor Byron Brown said the city was reviewing the application.

"We know that the game against the Indianapolis Colts they used the initiative very successfully, very safely, and the city is already reviewing their application," Mayor Brown said.

For reservations you can email reservations@recrroombuffalo.com or text (716) 939-1279.

Kickoff Sunday is scheduled for 6:40 p.m.
