BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — Two of the three most popular wedding month are right around the corner-- September and October.
With so much to think about 7 Eyewitness News Reporter Rebecca Thornburg spoke with Buffalo/New York City Wedding Planner Lauren Marinaro for her tips on all things Wedding Tech.

Should couples make a website?
"I always recommend brides to have them," Marinaro said. "They are great, they are fun and are a great tool for your guests." Guests can learn about the reception, dress code, events leading up to the big day like the shower or engagement party .
Marinaro says she does not recommend using a website only for guests to RSVP. She says the paper form is more fool proof and the website can be used for your own benefit. Marinaro adds that brides are switching to using online RSVP to save a few dollars.
What about a #hashtag?
-It's fun to go back and see pictures you may have missed from the night
-But you don't want your guests on their phones the whole night
-Marinaro says to keep it short, sweet and put the hastag on everything
-It is public, so your wedding is open to everyone
-Marinaro says she also has seen Brides and Grooms be disappointed if nobody used the # to take pictures
Videographer and photographer needed?
"They are a different feeling," Marinaro said.
-Video captures the sounds of the day and all the movements
-Pictures are beautiful for guests and memories
"If you think you are going to be the person every anniversary to pull out your wedding album and reminsce or are you going to be the one to sit back with a glass of wine and watch the whole wedding day unfold again," Marinaro said. l
