CHEEKTOWAGA, N.Y. (WKBW) — A plane heading to Seattle, Washington from JFK in New York City made an emergency landing in Buffalo on Friday evening.

NFTA Transit Police say a 93-year-old male passenger became extremely confused during the flight, forcing the Alaska Airlines plane to land at the Buffalo Airport.

The distressed passenger was removed from the plane without incident and was cooperative with police, according to NFTA spokesperson Helen Tederous.

No one was injured.
