BATAVIA, N.Y. (WKBW) — The Batavia Police Department are looking into a robbery in the parking lot of Pizza Hut on January 24th at 7:38 PM.

According to investigators, the victims went to meet a potential buyer of items they were selling online. The victims say the "buyer" is the suspect and he was armed with a blunt object. No one was hurt. Police are not releasing any more information.

Batavia Police would like to remind citizens that the Batavia Police Headquarters rear vestibule is a certified Safe Trade Station. The station provides you with a safe spot to conduct your trade or sale versus a parking lot or house. The area is monitored by surveillance cameras and police personnel and a direct phone connection to the Genesee County Dispatch Center is available.
