Pennsylvania woman arrested under Leandra's Law for driving drunk with 10-year-old in Chautauqua Co.

FRENCH CREEK, N.Y. (WKBW) — The Chautauqua County Sheriff's Office says an Erie, Penn. woman has been arrested under Leandra's Law for driving drunk with a 10-year-old in the car in the town of French Creek.

Authorities say 38-year-old Latasha Myers was driving on Route 474 when she was stopped by deputies, just after 1 o'clock Monday morning.

Deputies determined that Myers was driving drunk with a 10-year-old passenger in the vehicle.

That 10-year-old has since returned to family members in Pennsylvania, and Myers is at the Chautauqua County Jail awaiting arraignment.
