LOCKPORT, N.Y. (WKBW) — The Niagara County District Attorney's Office announced a pediatric dentist has been sentenced to prison for attempted criminal act against a child.
Louis Surace pleaded guilty to attempted criminal act against a child in the first degree on September 15, 2020, he was sentenced to five years in prison and 15 years post release supervision.
According to a report from the Niagara County District Attorney's Office in January 2019, the abuse took place between 2013 and December 2018 and involved a child.
The investigation began after authorities received a tip from Child Protective Services regarding unwanted sexual contact with a child under the age of 17. The incidents did not take place at the clinic.
