BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — The Buffalo Brewpub will host a "Paws at the Pub" event Sunday to benefit the SPCA Serving Erie County.

This will be the second year of the event and it will have a "meaty" twist as 12 Gates Brewing Company and Buffalo Brewpub have collaborated on a dog-friendly beef flavored brew.

Labeled "A beer your dog can appreciate, Yorkie-Brew Beef Ale," the dog friendly brew will be available for purchase for $5.

The event runs from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Buffalo Brewpub located at 6861 Main Street in Williamsville.

All tips received by servers and bartenders along with a portion of food and beverage sales will be donated to the SPCA.

“We are big animal lovers and greatly admire the work the SPCA Serving Erie County does in our community every day,” said Christopher Townsell, Buffalo Brewpub general manager. “We saw an opportunity to contribute towards their efforts, and our whole staff was excited over the idea.”
