It's not clear what caused the gas leak and how many students and faculty have been evacuated. The gas leak was shut off around 10:30 a.m., but occupants were asked to stay out of the affected buildings while they were ventilated.
Officials say there was no immediate threat on campus because of the gas leak. No injuries were reported.
