HARTLAND, N.Y. (WKBW) — A home in the Town of Hartland was destroyed by a fire early Friday morning.
Niagara County dispatchers said they received several calls reporting the fire on Ridge Road. Sheriff's deputies and Middleport officers arrived to find the home ablaze.
Fire companies from Gasport, Wrights Corners and Hartland responded to extinguish the fire.
Investigators with the Niagara County Sheriff's Office Criminal Division as well as Niagara County Origin and Cause are now looking into the cause of the fire.
Two people who live there were not hurt. The Red Cross is assisting them.
