NIAGARA FALLS, N.Y. (WKBW) — Molly King is a music teacher for students with disabilities at Orleans/Niagara BOCES. During her time, she has noticed how much the students enjoy class, even with the fact that the instruments are not disable friendly.

"I know the students are having fun and want to participate" King said.

To help that, King brought in 4th year students from RIT. For their senior project, they will be developing technology that allows students with disabilities the chance to play instruments.

"Giving these students some kind of assistive technology to help them do that is just incredible," Sofia Quinones, a member of the RIT team said.

The project is in its earliest stage, but when it is finished, students with disabilities will have the opportunity to play instruments to their full capabilities.

"I think when we have this we will see something great," King said.
