TOWN OF BARRE, N.Y. (WKBW) — The Orleans County Sheriff's Office says 71-year-old Robert M. Arnett who went missing from his residence in the Town of Barre Friday night was found dead Sunday morning.
The Sheriff's Office says Arnett's body was found shortly after 10 a.m. by the New York State Police Dive Team in a pond near his residence.
The incident remains under investigation, although authorities do not believe there was any foul play involved at this time.
Arnett was last seen in his residence around 7 p.m. Friday.
According to officials, Arnett suffered from Alzheimer's and required medication.
Multiple agencies began a search for Arnett Friday.
