Orchard Park officer, two others injured in crash

ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. (WKBW) — Orchard park police say an officer and two others were injured in a crash involving a police car Friday afternoon.

The crash occurred around 1:30 p.m. at the intersection of Duerr and California Roads, a 79-year-old East Otto man was traveling southbound on California Road and failed to stop at the stop sign striking the police car.

The officer was treated at the scene for a head injury and transported to ECMC where he is listed in stable condition.

The 79-year-old man and his passenger were also transported to ECMC with minor injuries.

Police have not released the identity of any of those involved, it is unknown if any charges have been filed.
