Orchard Park man pleads guilty in drunk driving crash that killed passenger

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — An Orchard Park man admits he was driving drunk the night he crashed his car in West Seneca, causing the death of one passenger and injuring two others.

Daniel Witczak, 33, pleaded guilty in State Supreme Court to one count of vehicular manslaughter.

Witczak crashed on Southwestern Boulevard around 5:30 a.m. on September 15. One of his passengers, Corrine Bennett, 38, died at the scene. Witczak and two other passengers suffered serious injuries.

Witczak faces up to seven years in prison when he is sentenced on April 7.
