BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — The Erie County Sheriff's Office says an Orchard Park man was arrested for DWI after allegedly harassing visitors at Chestnut Ridge Park.
Deputies responded just after 2 p.m. Friday to Chestnut Ridge Park for complaints of a man driving through the park harassing guests. A traffic stop was initiated upon locating the vehicle.
The sheriff's office says while speaking to 60-year-old Jeffrey Courteau, deputies observed signs of impairment and a strong odor of alcohol.
Courteau failed field sobriety tests and was arrested, according to the sheriff's office.
He was later released with tickets and faces the following charges: DWI – previous conviction within 10-years, aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, and a traffic infraction.
