Western New York will be getting another military plane flyover to honor first responders, healthcare personnel and essential workers who have been on the frontlines of the COVID-19 crisis.
This flight, planned for June 6, will be over the Southern Tier, giving a salute to workers in areas like Jamestown, Olean and Wellsville.
This flight is being organized by the National Warplane Museum and will feature "Whiskey 7" a Douglas C-47 WWII airplane, and "Mad Max" a P-51 Mustang that were part of last weekend's "Operation Thanks From Above."
The flight is scheduled to take off from Geneseo at 9:30am. The full flyover schedule has not been released yet.
