One rushed to hospital after fiery crash on 33 overpass

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — One person was rushed to Erie County Medical Center early Wednesday morning after a crash on the 33 expressway.

It happened just before 4 a.m. at the Michigan Avenue overpass, as the 33 winds into downtown Buffalo.

The 7 Eyewitness News crew on the scene observed the burned car rested on the guardrail. The car was removed from the road just before 6 a.m.

American Medical Response confirmed it transported one person from the scene to ECMC in an ambulance with lights and sirens.
