EVANS, N.Y. (WKBW) — One person has died after a New Year's Day house fire in Evans.
Evans Police say they responded to the Melody Meadows Mobile Home Park on Thomas Lane around 3:40 p.m. Thursday.
After the fire, crews say they found one person and several cats dead.
The person's identity is not being released at this time. This is an ongoing investigation.
