BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — One person has died after a house fire on Potomac Avenue early on Tuesday.
The fire started just before 12:30 a.m. Tuesday inside a 2.5-story house on Potomac Avenue.
Buffalo Fire says the fire started on the second-floor kitchen, but they were able to contain it.
According to officials, an adult male was rescued during search operations. AMR reported he was in cardiac arrest and was transported to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The victim has been identified as Aaron Kondziela.
Officials said the cause of the fire has been determined to be accidental in nature.
