PAVILION, N.Y. (WKBW) — Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding a deadly crash in Genesee County.
Sheriff's deputies say the driver of a car ran a red light and slammed into the side of a tractor trailer. They say the driver of that car was 81-year-old Robert G. Daniels of Warsaw, NY. He died at the scene.
This happened right around noon Saturday, at the intersection of routes 19 and 63 in the Town of Pavilion. The truck driver was not hurt.
Deputies are investigating why the Daniels failed to stop at the light. The truck driver is not facing any charges.
