CONCORD, N.Y. (WKBW) — One person is dead after a single-car crash on Route 219 in Concord. The Erie County Sheriff's Office says the driver lost control and hit the bottom of the overpass at Genesee Road.
The Sheriff's Office responded to the crash around 8:30 a.m. Thursday, and found the only person in the car dead. About an hour later, the Crash Investigation Unit was on-scene. The sheriff's office says Route 219 southbound will be closed until after noon to investigate the crash, but they say drivers can easily get off and back on at Genesee Road.
