TOWN OF ROYALTON, N.Y. (WKBW) — The Niagara County Sheriff's Office says a 55-year-old man is dead after a car crash in the Town of Royalton.
According to the sheriff's office the crash occurred on the 7800 block of Mill Road around 2 p.m. Thursday.
Initial investigation reveals a 2011 Honda was traveling on Mill Road when it crossed the center line and continued across the roadway. The vehicle then struck an embankment and overturned.
Officials say the driver, Christopher L. Mahar of Gasport was pronounced dead at the scene.
The investigation is ongoing.
