BUFFALO, NY (WKBW) — We say cheers to perhaps one of Buffalo's most well known bartenders.

Louis Leone retired Saturday night after spending 37 years behind the bar at Oliver's Restaurant on Delaware Avenue in North Buffalo.

Mayor Byron Brown and Council member Joel Feroleto stopped by before his last shift to deliver a special proclamation from the City of Buffalo.

Leone was also a school teacher in Buffalo for many years, and even taught the mayor's wife, Michelle.

Our congratulations go out to Louis, along with his wife and their two daughters.
