Arrest made following threats toward Olean City School District

OLEAN, N.Y. (WKBW) — The Olean City School District announced an investigation into a threat made on social media Friday morning.

Early Friday evening, the Olean Police Department announced an arrest has been made. A 15-year-old male was charged with two counts of making a terroristic threat and will be arraigned in family court.

According to Olean Police Chief Jeff Rowley, a video was posted to social media platforms showing photos of local school children with captions that include their names and the letters "RIP".
