BERGEN, N.Y. (WKBW) — The Genesee County Sheriff's Office is investigating a deadly crash in the Town of Bergen.
Authorities say 25-year-old Elijah Coombs of Oakfield was driving with two others when he crashed into a utility pole, just after 7 o'clock Monday night.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Officials say 26-year-old Jamie Bachorski, also of Oakfield, was taken via Mercy Flight to Strong Memorial Hospital with serious injuries.
Crews also say 21-year-old Samantha Wade of Byron was also sent by ambulance to Strong Memorial Hospital with minor injuries.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
