BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — President Joe Biden and Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau did not talk publicly about reopening the border in their first official meeting since President Biden's inauguration.
While it doesn't look like restrictions will be lifted any time soon, a summary of their discussion did point to an agreement on a "coordinated approach" to easing restrictions, but no other details were given.
The bridges into Canada have been closed to all non-essential travel since the start of the pandemic.
Right now, the ban is set to expire on March 21st.
